KUALA LUMPUR, 11 MAY 2024 – Ni Hsin EV Tech Sdn. Bhd. (“NH EV TECH”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Main Market-listed Ni Hsin Group Berhad (“Ni Hsin” or the “Group”; Bursa: NIHSIN, 7215), had today launched a new edition of EV motorcycle, the EBIXON KRUZ, at The Starhill, Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur.
EBIXON KRUZ is manufactured by Dongguan Tailing Motor Vehicle Co., Ltd (“TAILG”) and assembled by NH EV TECH in Malaysia under license.
TAILG is one of the top three manufacturers of electric two-wheelers in China with a strong focus in environmental, social and governance (“ESG”). TAILG has won numerous awards including National High-Tech Enterprise and National Quality Training Base, and delivered EV models to China Telekom, Baidu Takeaway as well as Proctor & Gamble, amongst others. The company is also a partner of the “United Nations Environment E-mobility Programme”.

Our strategic alliance with TAILG began with the signing of a Product Development Agreement. The cooperation resulted in the successful development of EBIXON TORQ and EBIXON BOLD for commercial and personal use respectively which were launched in November 2022. These models are well received in the Malaysian market including government local councils and GLCs. Following the successful launch of the TORQ and BOLD models the parties brainstormed and conduct further researches to developed newer and more stylish models and the result is the stylish EBIXON KRUZ!”

The event also included the handing over of the EBIXON KRUZ motorcycles to early buyers by Mr. Chen and Mr. Khoo.
The EBIXON KRUZ, slick and trendy, preferred by both genders due to its curvy body design is an easy cruiser oozing with quiet riding comfort and a whole new experience. The EBIXON KRUZ is powered by 2 swappable lithium batteries with a capacity of 72 V 25 AH each and generates a peak power of 3000 W and achieves a top speed of 70 km/h. The motorcycle has a range of 120 km running on 2 batteries.
