24 April – Kuala Lumpur The Lions Clubs District of Malaysia and Thailand, is lighting up this “Hope” through a “Charity Ride for Sponsorship and Donations” by journeying from Serdang, Selangor to Chiang Mai, Thailand by our Malaysian Books of Record Holder Rider, Dr Pepper Lim.

This ride will be on our sponsored EBIXON EV Bike, CPX PRO under Ni Hsin EV Tech Sdn Bhd (NHEVT) which will take him throughout the trip until his return to Malaysia. The total distance will be approximately 5,000 km over a duration of 21 days.

This sponsorship value is equivalent to the sponsorship tier package under Silver Sponsor worth RM30,000 (inclusive of insurance and registration).

The objective of this sponsorship is to provide medical support for Childhood Cancer. Also, to provide humanitarian services by way of donating in kind and any other contribution that can benefit the children. Mr Khoo Chee Kong, Managing Director NHEVT said, “Our contribution is to showcase environment friendly transportation and promote green living. He added, this is to support the aspiration of our EV Bike Rider, Dr Pepper Lim’s desire to break a new record and to enter the “Malaysian Books of Record for the longest journey on our EV bike in 7 days”.

The sponsorship handover was at NEVT Raya Open House held at our Blackbixon café & restaurant in PJ33 Petaling Jaya recently. The sponsorship was presented to Dr Pepper Lim by Mr Khoo Chee Kong, NHEVT managing director. Dr Pepper Lim was accompanied by Mr Tony Yee, President of Lions Club KL North and Mr Walter Khaw, the organizing chairperson

The flag off is schedule for 10 May 2025 at the Malaysia Motor Show 2025@MAEPS Selangor (Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang) by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim. .

This project fund raising goal is to raise RM500,000 through sponsorships and donations from Government & NGOs, Corporations, Lions Clubs, Individual and the Public.
